Coach Park

The Town Council financed a purpose built coach park in the town centre, on the site of the former fire station. This enables coach operators to bring visitors into the town to enjoy its historic streets and buildings, browse in the shops and relax in one of the many cafes and tea shops.

The coach park is situated in Westgate Street, opposite the entrance to the multi-storey car park. There are 3 marked out bays for coaches, and no charge is made. The Coach Park is landscaped and dominated by a community mural created by a group of local volunteers known as Barefoot.  Four Launceston Schools have painted murals to decorate the walls.

Parking of any other vehicles on the site is strictly prohibited at all times.
