Launceston Community Transport Partnership
Little Red Bus

A Dial-a-Ride service for all ages from villages, hamlets and communities in and around Launceston, that have a poor or non-existent bus service, to bring you into town, give you time to do all you need to do and take you home again. This can include the Library, Leisure Centre, Health Centre, Hospital, Co-op, Tesco as well as the town centre.

This service MUST be pre-booked at least 24 hours before you wish to travel.

The scheme has 2 buses one with 11 seats and the other 16.  Both buses have seat belts, 2 low steps with hand rails either side for easier access and a tail lift for wheelchairs. Each bus can accomadate up to 2 wheelchairs by removing 2 seats per wheelchair.  There is also space for fold up pushchairs and shopping etc. in a safe compartment beside the driver.

There are also regular excursions to places that have been requested, for example: Truro twice a month, Par Market, Atlantic Village, Rosemoor RHS Garden, Lewannick Film Club and many more.

The buses are also available for hire and have already been used by a wide variety of groups and organisations in the area e.g. Old Cornwall Society, U3A, local schools, etc.
